Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is a Canadian actor who is best famous for the fantasy television series Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Que te Enamores. Emeraude Toubia is also an accomplished model and dancer. A Montreal native, she grew as a child in Texas and was always fascinated by dance and performing. She's been learning various dance styles from the time she was a child. In her teens, she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 in a role as a receptionist in an Telemundo episode. She also appeared in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
